Bobcats Win Three Games During Five Game Stretch
Friday, November 8 vs University of Dayton Flyers
The Bobcats took home ice for the first time this season matching up against their inter-conference opponent University of Dayton Flyers. Ohio's offense shined for the first time during this 2019-2020 season. In a game honoring the Veterans of the United States Military, the Bobcats rallied their way past the Flyers in the home opener by a score of 11-1. University of Dayton goaltender Jamie Dziurdzik was hammered with a total of 52 shots in the contest, as the Bobcats proved to be too much for the Flyers.

Saturday, November 9 @ University of Dayton Flyers
The Bobcats traveled to University of Dayton Saturday to complete the home-and-home stint with the Flyers. After game delays for almost an hour, the matchup between the Bobcats and the Flyers would provide a much different storyline this time around. As always, the whistles in Dayton were out and the line to the penalty box for both teams seemed to never end. The Bobcats would overcome adversity however and complete the season sweep on their conference foes by score of 5-3. Ohio out shot the Flyers 42-26 in this contest. Sean Hare earned his first back to back wins of the year.

Sunday, November 10 @ University of Cincinnati Bearcats
After two games against the University of Dayton, the Bobcats traveled to Cincinnati to take on former TSCHL member University of Cincinnati Bearcats, who currently rank among the top five teams in the Southeast region. After two periods of play, the Bobcats were up with a one goal lead heading into the third. The third period would see two more lead changes, as University of Cincinnati proved to be the better team in the contest. Shots were in favor of the Bearcats by a slim margin, as Dunning kicked aside 35 of 40 shots faced. Jay Klipinger for the Bearcats was able to turn away 31 of 35 of Ohio Universities shots.

Friday, November 15 vs University of Louisville Cardinals
In their only home game stand of the season, the Bobcats hosted University of Louisville Cardinals in a late night Friday night match up where both goalies saw a heavy dosage of shots. The Cardinals jumped out to a lead in the first period, but the Bobcats fought back in the second period evening the score at 1-1 after two periods of action. However, University of Louisville was able to tuck two goals past Ohio's defense and net minder Sean Hare. The final of Friday nights match up was 3-1, shots 39-32 in favor of the Bobcats.

Saturday, November 16 vs University of Louisville Cardinals
An afternoon after the Friday night loss at home to the University of Louisville, the Bobcats showed up for their teams Senior Day with vengeance. However, the Cardinals were the ones to strike first in this Saturday afternoon match up, as UL captain Yannis Soukas was able to find Bailey Emery out front to jump out to a 1-0 lead. The lead would not last long as the Bobcats first line was able to connect on two beauties before the end of the first period making way for a big night on the scoreboard. With a total of 42 shots the Bobcats netted a total of seven goals in the contest. Mason Yenchar was the first star of the game tallying four goals and the game-winning goal.

Friday, November 22 & 23 @ Miami University Redhawks Weekend Preview
Friday afternoon the Bobcats will travel to Oxford, Ohio to take on division rival Miami University Redhawks. Followed up by a game in Athens, Saturday night at Bird Arena. Coming into the weekend the Bobcats sit in the #12 position among the ACHA Division 2 Southeast regional ranking. Their ACHA record currently 4-6-0-1 and TSCHL record at 4-2-1. Their rival Miami University is currently ranked #6 position among the ACHA Division 2 Southeast regional ranking. Expect this weekends match up between these two fierce TSCHL teams to be physical and gritty, as these two compete in the Battle of the Bricks.
