The Ohio University Bobcat Division Two Men's Hockey program is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and it competes in the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League (TSCHL). The TSCHL includes Bowling Green State University, Universrity of Dayton, Indiana University, University of Louisville, Miami University, Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, and Xavier University.
The Ohio Bobcat Division Two Hockey program prides itself on being able to provide its student athletes the means and opportunity to compete with nationally ranked opponents. Along with league competition the Bobcats compete against teams including Delaware University, University of Cincinnati, Liberty University, University of Kentucky and many more collegiete programs.
Ohio University offers a unique and rewarding college experience. Ohio gives students a small town feel, while still accommodating an average of 20,000 college students each Fall and Spring Semester. Academically Ohio offers a great opportunity for student athletes to continue competing at a high level of hockey while earning a degree from a nationally respected university.
Hockey at Ohio University is played at a very high level. The roster is typically comprised of players who have played in the NA3HL, USPHL, Midget Major AAA, elite high school and prep school hockey programs.
The Ohio Bobcat Division Two Hockey team plays all their home games at the historic Bird Arena located in the heart of Ohio University’s campus. The Bobcats have equipment storage within a community locker room, enabling the players to keep all gear at Bird Arena.
